ORYXE Energy International Welcomes Three New Scientists From ExxonMobil, University of California and General Electric

New Scientists Include Director of Fuel Additives Lyle Parker, Ph.D., Principal Research Scientist Reinhard Seiser, Ph.D. And Senior Analytical Chemist Richard Cozad, Ph.D.

Irvine, Calif. – November 15, 2005 – ORYXE Energy International announced today that three distinguished scientists, Lyle Parker, Reinhard Seiser and Richard Cozad, have joined the energy technology company.

ORYXE Energy develops and markets proprietary fuel additives for diesel, gasoline and heavy distillates to enable these fuels to burn cleaner, thus reducing toxic environmental emissions. Earlier this year, the company launched its first product-to-market, ORYXE LED, the first proportionally-injected additive to be approved for use in meeting the new Texas Low Emission Diesel rule.

“Science is the backbone of ORYXE Energy, so we are especially excited to welcome these three scientists to our growing team,” said ORYXE Energy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter Schindler. “With their impressive backgrounds and expertise in chemistry, they will contribute a great deal to the ongoing development of ORYXE Energy’s products.”

Parker is ORYXE Energy’s new Director of Fuel Additives. He will be responsible for developing research programs that serve to optimize and improve the company’s line of fuel additives.

Parker, a former research scientist at General Electric, is the co-inventor or inventor on five U.S. patents in physical chemistry. Parker also was a professor of chemistry at North Harris Montgomery College and North Dakota State University. He earned his Ph.D. in chemical physics at Washington State University.

As ORYXE Energy's new Principal Research Scientist, Reinhard Seiser will lead the scientific development and improvement of new and existing fuel additives. He is charged with analyzing the chemical-kinetic interaction of additive and hydrocarbon components in flames, industrial combustors, and internal combustion engines.

Seiser formerly was the assistant project scientist at the Center for Energy Research at the University of California, San Diego, where he managed the university’s combustion laboratory. He earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering and a Ph.D. in technical sciences from Technical University in Graz, Austria.

Richard Cozad, ORYXE Energy’s new Senior Analytical Chemist is a gas and liquid chromatography specialist. Cozad is responsible for managing ORYXE Energy’s quality assurance and quality control programs as well as for developing and managing the company’s Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Prior to joining ORYXE Energy, Cozad spent seven years at ExxonMobil, where he was charged with supervising a chemical plant quality assurance lab, troubleshooting customer shipment complaints, providing project chemical support for sales and marketing and providing technical support for external customers. He earned his Ph.D. in organic/polymer chemistry at the University of Southern Mississippi.
